New York City Architecture

Taken from their website:
"This is New York's landmark historic Jewish neighborhood, which was once the world's largest Jewish community. It was here that the New York garment industry began. Today it is one of New York's favorite bargain beats, where serious shoppers find fantastic bargains."
This section of the nyc architecture website has many photos of the early 20th century.

in 2000 the neighborhood was designated a state and national historic district but much of it's history is slowly being altered with new stores, movie theatres and small shops. Visit this link, www.nyc-architecture.com/LES/LES.htm (scroll down), to learn more on this interesting New York neighborhood.

Cambridge in Colour

Cambridge University is one of the oldest universities in the world. The history and the diversity alone makes it an interesting photography subject. Sean McHugh makes the university look amazingly surreal by taking photographs with low light and in night-time situations.

I was quite surprised to find out Sean had around 40 tutorials on photography. From explaining the fundamentals to image manipulation in photoshop. Sean also offers prints of several of his photographs for a reasonable fee. Be sure to visit Cambridge in Colour. I know it's inspired me to try lowlight photography
